The way to make it work is with our fitness retreat facilitated by certified personal trainer Gloria Kamil, who has successfully helped hundreds of women lose weight and inches and gain healthy good looks and enriched self-esteem. And there is almost no better place to do it than the restorative Zanzibar. Treat yourself and your loved ones to a healthy new you. Women over 40 especially encouraged to attend. Students at Large Project Educational activism aimed at bringing together young people from Africa and the U.S. to explore the deeper meanings and various means of knowledge attainment. Students use African-centered methods to share their challenges and hopes and produce strategies for a stronger future (under 18 must be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian). Essential Centering: A Women’s Meditation Retreat Sisters, come to the Motherland to renew your battered spirits and reap the rewards of communing with other sisters who are seeking inner peace and outer joy. We will provide time and space for each participant alone, for group activities and for productive, positive exchanges with local sisters to build long-term relationships of renewal. Life as a Poem/Art & Music of the Soul Retreat Let Africa be your muse as you open to the people, sights, sounds and tastes of Africa.
